Effective communication is essential in today's work environment. Good communication is as reliant on good listening as on coherent speaking. Here are some tips on howto be a better listener:
- Look at the other person
- Ask questions
- Don't interrupt
- Don't change the subject
- Express emotion with control
- Respond appropriately
